Salt. Sanctuary. Sacrament.
Salt. Sanctuary. Sacrament.
Sea breeze at our backs (and our fronts).
Island Estate. Seafood. Libations.
I’m salivating.
Whoops. That’s my camera (and butt).
Peekaboo!
This bride was able to wed at her personal sanctuary. Her family’s home on the water.
I am so blessed to have gotten to know this family. They took me in with open arms, and allowed me to find peace amidst the ocean breeze as we roamed their Island Estate. Every direction we looked, there was a view. Shooting here was almost too easy. It didn’t hurt having such a handsome groom and smokin’ bride.
“Who gives this woman to be married to this man?”
Spoiler Alert.
They say, “I do.”
First Kiss.
Jeez. That view.
Get this Recessional moving.
I’m hungry for some seaside apps and thirsty for adult beverages.
But, seriously… How freaking gorgeous are these two.
They did it.
One of my favorite parts about capturing images during a wedding day is documenting candid moments with family members. I know for myself and my own wedding, much of those moments were fleeting, and look like a blur as I focus back on my wedding. Because of this, I know how important these images can be in telling the full story of that day.
I also care deeply for those who face the sad and painful reality of spending their wedding day without one or more of their closest loved ones — whether it be a parent, grandparent, sibling, or friend. I have personal experience with not being able to share my special day with my best friend, my Grandpa Frank. I bring empathy alongside my camera and lens.
Finally.
Food and Drinks.
But not in that order.
“Just dance, spin that record, babe, da da doo-doo-mmm”
— Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta
It’s all in the details.
Safety hazard. Proceed with caution.
There is always one drunk-ass individual who seems to find his or her way to burn me with their handheld firework on the way out of any Sparkler Grand Exit… But damn if those sparklers don’t look freaking amazing on camera.
At Last.
This song can’t be overplayed.
